Hi guys, I hope you are all well. This month The Fantasy Hive and Nils at nils.reviewsit are spotlighting women in SFF so I thought I’d put together a TBR. I noticed last year that alot of the books on my shelves are by men so I’ve been trying to read more books by women and this is the perfect time to spotlight women writing SFF. You guys know I’ve never good at sticking to TBRs but hopefully I’ll be able to this time. I’m going to be sharing more books than I’ll be able to read in a month, but there are a lot of books by women I want to check out so I thought I’d share them all with you guys. Let’s get started.
-
The Bone Shard Daughter / Andrea Stewart
-
Parable of the Sower / Octavia E. Butler
-
Ancillary Justice / Ann Leckie
-
The Word for World is Forest / Ursula K. Le Guin
-
Do You Dream Of Terra Two? / Temi Oh
-
The City We Became / N. K Jemisin
-
Race the Sands / Sarah Beth Durst
-
Unconquerable Sun / Kate Elliott
-
Kingdom of Souls / Rena Barron
-
The Bone Doll’s Twin / Lynn Flewelling
-
The Nine / Tracy Townsend
-
The House of Shattered Wings / Aliette de Bodard
Now I’m definitely not going to get to all of these books, but I just wanted to share with you guys the SFF by women that I want to read at some point. Hopefully I’ll get to a fair of these in July. Have you guys read any of these books? I’d love to know what you thought. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Great looking list! I love NK Jemisin’s work SO much. I also recommend Nnedi Okorafor and Samantha Shannon!

I’ve read Ancillary Justice, but I’m not sure I really appreciated it. And I heard of Lynn Flewelling recently and I’m keen to try her work!
