It is such an enjoyable read. The plot is quite unique and I loved every second of reading this. I found the story to be compelling throughout and the pacing is so well done.

It is very well written. This was my first book by this author but I found it so easy to settle into the flow of the writing. The author has done a wonderful job at creating such a vivid setting.

There is a fantastic cast of characters. Sophie is such a great protagonist and her development through the book is so well done. You really come to care about them all.

This book will appeal to a wide range of readers and ages.

If you love Howl’s Moving Castle, the Studio Ghibli film, then you will most likely love this too. It is a bit different to the film but both are fantastic.
That’s all for today. Howl’s Moving Castle is my favourite Studio Ghibli films and the book is fantastic, so after rewatching the film recently I wanted to share the love. Have you read the book or seen the film? I’d love to know what you thought. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Such a great book! I read both sequels a couple of years ago, so much fun. Can’t go wrong with Diana Wynne Jones.
