Hi guys, I hope you are all well. Today I thought I’d share some of my bookish deal-breakers. These are things that bug me in books and possibly even make me want to stop reading it. Or things I hear about a book that makes me less likely to pick it up. Now these are things that annoy, but they may not bother you. Let’s get started.

Love triangles – never a fan. Please just stop.

Girl on girl hate when there is no logical reason for said hate.

Insta love – again just stop.

Repetitive writing.

Poorly developed characters, magic system and/or world.

Repetitive writing is such a pet peeve! I hate it when the same descriptive phrase is used over and over. It really takes me out of the book.
