Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week I’m going a bit off topic. We’re supposed to be sharing our favourite reads of 2018 so far, but I’ve already done a post about that, so I’m going to be sharing my current favourite authors instead. I am also going to share one of my favourite book or series by each author, as well as a book by each author that is on my TBR. Let’s get started.

The only one I’ve read is Ken Liu. I like some of his short stories, but I’m worried that his novels would have too much worldbuilding for me. I like to get right to the action.

That’s fair. There is a lot of world building in his Dandelion Dynasty series. I’d still recommend them because I love it so much. 🙂
