Bookish Quotes Part 2

Hi guys, you may remember a while back I shared some of my favourite quotes, today I thought I would share some more. There are so many great quotes from books I couldn’t leave it at just one post.
  • “Look forward, not back. Correct your course and go on. You cannot undo yesterday’s journey.” Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb – Book 1 of the Liveship Traders trilogy
  • “Does the walker choose the path or the path the walker?” Sabriel, Garth Nix
  • “Lately, I feel like my life is a book written in a language I don’t know how to read.” Hero of Ages,  Brandon Sanderson – third and final book in the Mistborn trilogy
  • “Quit being so hard on yourself. We are what we are; we love what we love. We don’t need to justify it to anyone… not even to ourselves.” Republic of Thieves, Scott Lynch
  • “Knowledge is dangerous. Once you know something, you can’t get rid of it. You have to carry it. Always.” Bone Season, Samantha Shannon – book 1
  • “A wise parent humours the desire for independent action, so as to become the friend and advisor when his absolute rule shall cease.” North and South, Elizabeth Gaskell
  • “Home isn’t where you’re from, it’s where you find light when all grows dark” Golden Son, Pierce Brown – Book 2
  • “Light blooms the brighter in the darkest places” The Gift, Alison Croggon
  • “The mystery of life isn’t a problem to solve, but a reality to experience.” Dune, Frank Herbert
  • “We ascribe meanings because it is our nature to do so..We can no more see a thing without searching for a meaning than we can see a snag in a robe without pulling on the loose thread.” Fudoki, Kij Johnson

I’m interested to know if you guys have any favourite quotes. If you do leave them in the comments :). These quotes are very telling of my reading tastes, as they are all from some of my favourite books! I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
